Authors Take: Smackdown Live has had a rough 2017 after all the highs of 2016! From realistically getting the shaft in the “Superstar Shakeup” to having a five-month Jinder Mahal Title run that was poison to both Live Attendance figures and TV ratings. Vince McMahon seemingly went out of his way to tell fans that Smackdown Live was the “B-Show” this year!
However, thanks to the never-ending painful slog that is Raw’s third hour, Vince seemingly giving up on the Jinder experiment and Smackdown featuring more creative storylines than Raw the last few weeks…The Blue brand is starting to bounce back.
