Ronda Rousey’s schedule has been changed again. She is now being advertised for all shows leading up to WrestleMania. While we reported (below) that Rousey wasn’t on Raw because she was on Ellen, that show was taped last week. Ronda was actually running through a series of standard medical tests in PA.
It had been stated that Ronda Rousey would be on Raw each week leading up to WrestleMania, but that has changed. She did not appear on the most recent episode of Raw, and will not appear until the go-home to Mania. She was not in Detroit due to being in California, appearing on the Ellen show. They pushed her new WWE career, with Rousey stating that the WWE is, “live TV show about a wrestling tournament where everyone does their own stunts.”
Queen’s Decree – While I think it’s great that Rousey was on Ellen and really pushed her new career in the WWE, something that other MMA fighter never does. Rousey is really winning me over with her work on Raw, and her media work outside the WWE. I am a bit bummed that she won’t be on Raw the next couple weeks, but I think she’s something really special, and if she can keep up with the travel demands, she might be someone who leaves us in awe for years to come.
