The Sun interviewed Roman Reigns following Monday Night Raw in London this week. During the interview, he was asked about his feelings about the crowd being toxic against him, beating the Undertaker, and being the full-time face of the company.
On the fans turning against him, he had this to say:
”As long as fans are showing up and as long as they’re making noise, I’ve done my job. I’ve done what I’m supposed to do and that’s draw people into the building.”
In response to fans walking out in droves last week at Backlash, he had this to say:
“I think the way I can fight is to just continue to do what I do – to continue to show up. What I and everybody in WWE thinks is to go out there and work hard and continue to show why I am the guy. It’s not easy doing this every single day, going to every single town, and getting a reaction. And that’s what I do regardless of whether it’s all cheers, a mixed reaction, or heavy boos.”

Jester’s Jest: Personally, I think this attitude is going to come back and bite both Roman and Vince in the butt. By continuing to shove someone down the fans throats, that they have shown time and time again they have a huge disdain for, will end up having fans vacate WWE altogether on the grounds that they feel there voices are not being heard. I don’t know a good fix now for Roman besides having him off TV for a while and return at a point in the future as a new character.
