Ringside Ticket Prices For WWE’s Show In Melbourne Australia Are Insane!

WWE is hoping for a sell out when they travel to Australia in October for their much publicised Super Show Down event in Melbourne Australia at the 100,000 seat Melbourne Cricket Ground. But they may need to rethink ticket pricing if they are going to do it.

Here is the full list of prices for the event in Australian Dollars:

Reserved Seating: $39.80

Reserved Seating: $91.80

Reserved Seating: $132.55

Reserved Seating: $198.80

Reserved Seating: $229.40

Reserved Seating: $305.85

Reserved Seating: $458.80

Reserved Seating: $968.55

Ringside Seating: $1,427.30

To put this in perspective, our benevolent Queen Kendra attended the 2016 Hell In A Cell PPV and ringside tickets for that event were around $565 U.S. or around 770 Australian Dollars.

Sir Mitch Says: This show is a week after the Australian Football League Grand Final when the whole country stops and opens their wallets. Plus the economic situation in Australia right now could be a lot better with the cost of living and housing constantly on the rise. Couple that with the fact Pro Wrestling (while growing in popularity here) is still a niche audience when compared to America/Mexico/Japan and I am even further convinced they won’t come close to filling the MCG!
