MAJOR Angle Takes Place After NJPW G1 San Francisco Main Event

Kenny Omega retained the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at the G1 Special In San Francisco, after pinning Cody Rhodes following a One-Winged Angel. After Omega addressed the fans, King Haku, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa came out from the back and looked like the whole Bullet Club (minus Cody) was about to celebrate on the ramp, but then the Tongan trio attacked Kenny and The Young Bucks from behind. Hangman Page and Scurll came out to help but got taken out. Tama Tonga then screamed, “You did this” at Kenny as Tonga Loa took out Chase Owens and Takahashi.

Hangman Page and Marty Scurll came out to help but got taken out as well. Tama Tonga then screamed, “You did this” at Kenny as Tonga Loa took out Chase Owens and Takahashi.

The three men then took off their Bullet Club shirts to reveal new “Firing Squad” shirts which we can only assume is the stables new name.

After the beatdown lasted a few minutes, Tama Tonga signaled Cody to come came back out. Tama Tonga handed him a chair, and it looked like was going to be the leader of this new stable and attack Kenny. But then Cody took shots at Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa but got taken out by King Haku. After beating Cody up, the trio left as Kenny, Cody and the rest of the Bullet Club were all laid out in the ring. After Cody and Kenny embraced each other and the Bullet Club theme played the show out.

Sir Mitch Says: I predicted months ago that Bullet Club would split into two different factions this year, but I didn’t expect it to go about this way.
