Impact Wrestling held it’s yearly Slammiverary Pay-Per-View on Sunday night and here are the results:


Johnny Impact def. Ishimori, Petey Williams, & Fenix in a fatal 4-way

Tessa Blanchard def. Allie with her hammerlock DDT

Eddie Edwards def. Tommy Dreamer in a House of Hardcore rules match.

Brian Cage def. Matt Sydal (c) to win the X Division championship.

Su Yung (c) def. Madison Rayne to retain the Knockouts title.

LAX (Santana & Ortiz) (c) def. OGs (Hernandez & Homicide) in a 5150 Street Fight to retain the tag team championships.

Pentagon Jr. vs. Sami Callihan (Mask vs. Hair).

Austin Aries (c) def. Moose to retain the Impact world title.


Apparently, the response to this PPV was pretty incredible too!  As we already know, former “205 Live” star Rich Swann was supposed to be on the show as well but an injury got him pulled at the last minute.  Of course, we wish him well in his recovery.


Botch Take:  Despite all of their problems, Impact Wrestling/TNA/GFW has NEVER had a problem with ring work.  I’m sure this was excellent though I didn’t catch it myself.  I tried an episode of the show some time ago (which I documented on the site) and didn’t feel the need to keep doing it.  Sorry, Impact.  I’m just not that into you.
