Four Big Superstars Have Their WWE Contracts Expiring Soon

There are many questions flying around about whether AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows will be staying with the WWE or returning to NJPW when their contracts expire early in 2019.  Many doubt that Styles would leave the WWE at this point, but Nakamura hasn’t had the best run on Smackdown, and the Good Brothers have really struggled to get over and find their place within the WWE.

Right now there are a lot of questions, but few answers as to who will be going and who will be staying when their contracts come up.

QD – Personally, I’d be shocked if AJ left the WWE at this point.  I’d honestly be very surprised if he didn’t retire from wrestling without leaving the WWE.  It took a long time to get Styles to the WWE, and after the run, he’s had, I think they would do just about anything to keep him.  Nakamura hasn’t had the best run, and he’s getting a bit long in the tooth, his schedule and work rate is much less strenuous with the WWE, and his family lives in Florida.  On the other hand, it might be a smart move for Anderson and Gallows to return to NJPW as their time in the WWE hasn’t been good for them or the company.
