It was announced today that John Cena would be appearing at the WWE Super Show-Down even in Australia and that his opponent would be Kevin Owens. The event will take place in Melbourne, Australia on October 6th from the Melbourne Cricket Ground and will be live on the WWE Network.
It will join the previously announced “last-ever” match between Triple H and the Undertaker and is their first match since their “End of an Era” Hell In A Cell match from Wrestlemania 28. Also advertised for the event are WWE Champion AJ Styles, Ronda Rousey, Shane McMahon, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax, Charlotte Flair, Daniel Bryan, The Miz, Sasha Banks, Big Show, Bray Wyatt, and the IIconics.

S.A.M.’s Spiel: These two have had a good series of matches dating back to when Owens made his main roster debut. It will be interesting to see how this match will affect ticket sales for the event. There is still some time before the event takes place, so the card is still in the early stages of being put together. I will be interested to see what other matches WWE decides to put together for Super Show-Down.
