Wrestle Royalty Predicts…NXT TakeOver Brooklyn IV!

We shall now do our very best to predict the match outcomes of the greatest show in WWE this weekend:  NXT TakeOver Brooklyn IV.  We also want to see how YOU feel about this show.  Post your predicts below along with ours and vote in the polls!

NXT Women’s Championship match:  Shayna Baszler vs. Kairi Sane

Baron Botch:  This should be a lot of fun.  Shayna has steamrolled over everyone she’s face in NXT so far.  Kairi has been no slouch either.  This last episode of NXT was designed to really make her look like a credible threat and it worked.  As for the outcome, Shayna has done everything you can do in NXT.  I’m just not sure what’s left.  It’s likely time for her to be called up so…

THE WINNAH AND NEWWWWWWW! – Kairi Sane

Sir Mitch:

THE WINNER – Kairi Sane

Last Man Standing/NXT Championship match:  Tommaso Ciampa vs. Johnny Gargano

Baron Botch:  These two are engaged in an absolutely classic feud.  We haven’t had one like this in ages.  The last feud I can recall that was like this was Dusty/Flair.  The chemistry between these two is “off the chain” and they put on matches that leave us all on the edge of our seats.  I have no doubt this’ll be another amazing match.  I think Johnny will do his best but he won’t be able to overcome a dirty finish.  Aleister will likely be involved here and grab his pound of flesh from Gargano.

THE WINNAH BY DQ – Johnny Gargano

Sir Mitch:

THE WINNER – Tommaso Ciampa

Velveteen Dream vs. EC3

Baron Botch:  Velveteen Dream is another one whose time in NXT is likely coming to an end.  Fun fact:  he’s lost every single TakeOver match he’s ever been in.  For some characters, wins and losses don’t matter.  Velveteen Dream is one of those characters.  I have absolutely no doubt that we’ll get a great match out of this. EC3 was here before as Derek Bateman and WWE totally missed the boat on him.  They did almost nothing with him and let him go.  He left for the indies and made his name out there.  Now, back as EC3, he’s a lot more fun.   He’s also got a lot of room to grown in NXT.  As such…

THE WINNAH  – EC3

Sir Mitch:

THE WINNER – EC3

NXT North American Championship match:  Adam Cole (Bay Bay) vs. Ricochet

Baron Botch:  The North American title was a nice idea and I was all for it when it was introduced.  Sadly, little has been done with it since it.  I believe this to be the first defense of any substance.  Adam and Ricochet will put on one heck of a match, of course.  I have heard that Ricochet is working with some sort of injury so hopefully, he’ll be safe and it isn’t a big deal.  While I love Ricochet, Adam hasn’t had the belt all that long so…

THE WINNAH  – Adam Cole (Bay Bay)

Sir Mitch:

THE WINNER – Adam Cole

NXT Tag Team Championship match:  The Undisputed Era (Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong) vs. Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate)

Baron Botch:  When the Undisputed Era lost the titles, I wasn’t a huge fan.   I wanted for them to hang on to them longer.  I’m so glad they got them back.  That is as it should have been.  I also wish Bobby Fish were well enough to be Kyle’s tag partner.  Roderick just bores me to tears and the heel turn hasn’t worked at all.  Still O’Reilly and Strong can work their faces off for sure.  Moustache Mountain are no slouches either by any means.  Both work extremely well, though their promo game is pretty awful.  As for who wins here, as long as there is no imminent call-up…

THE WINNAH  – The Undisputed Era

THE WINNER – The Undisputed Era

This promises, once again, to easily top SummerSlam and I can’t wait to see it.  I kinda wish Cedric vs. Drew were happening here instead.  This is a far more sensible stage for their match than SummerSlam’s Kick-Off show is.  Either way, TakeOver will be the show this weekend I come away remembering.  I guarantee it.
