Chris Jericho Now Open To Working Non-WWE Shows In The U.S.

While appearing on James Ellsworth’s #Duhcast podcast, current IWGP Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho indicated that he was open to working for other promotions outside of WWE within the United States if it was creatively satisfying for him and something he could really sink his teeth into.

“So when someone says, “Will you ever go to Impact? Would you ever go to Ring of Honor? Would you ever go here or there or whatever?” Yeah, sure. Why not? If it’s creatively satisfying. If it’s something, I can really sink my teeth into. Something that I could really enjoy. Then why wouldn’t I give it a shot?”

“At this point, I’ve done everything I can do in wrestling. I have loyalty to WWE but not a death wish with them or anything like that where I’m gonna by hook or by crook I have to be with WWE.”

Jericho has previously said that he wasn’t open to the idea of working for anyone in the United States except for Vince McMahon, but it appears that is no longer the case.

Sir Mitch Says: Jericho is a businessman and if he sees the industry is changing and he doesn’t see anything .interesting for him to do in WWE, then why wouldn’t he take advantage of that and work for other promotions?
