On October 10th, 2017, Neville walked out on WWE after being unhappy with the direction in which he was going in the company. Since then, he has been quiet and talks about him and WWE working out a deal have been reported.
It is now being reported that Neville is no longer under a WWE contract and will become a free agent. There are still some details yet to be released, such as a no compete clause, but he is set to be able to work in any company he desires.
Earlier in the week, Cody Rhodes tweeted saying he missed Neville. Matt Jackson replied saying, “Me too. I talked to him the other day. He’s good.”
S.A.M.’s Spiel: Well this is some big news going into this weekend. Neville will obviously be going under his former name of PAC when working outside of WWE and we can probably give a good guess as to where. New Japan and ROH would probably be the frontrunners but Impact could also be a player given the new direction they are going in. This has been a long time coming as Neville was no longer happy being stuck in the Cruiserweight division and losing to the then employed Enzo Amore. We will stay on top of this and see where the now former Neville goes.
