This Week’s “Monday Night Raw” Ratings Were A Disaster

This week’s Raw averaged 2.35 million viewers, the least-watched show in “Monday Night Raw” history.  In the all-important 18-49 demographic, it did 2,493,000 viewers with a 0.8 share that stayed pretty consistent over its entire three hours.  The show had to contend with both Monday Night Football and the season premiere of “Big Bang Theory”.  There was also the Donald Trump speech at the UN.  That may also have played a factor.  Here’s the hourly breakdown:

Hour one: 2.49 million
Hour two: 2.27 million
Hour three: 2.28 million

Botch Take:  Ouch!  WWE can’t be happy with that number.  While it had stiffer competition than I recalled (thanks, Mitch & Mat), those still aren’t exactly numbers to be proud of.  The only thing they really had to hang the show on was a possible Dean Ambrose turn on The Shield.  Clearly, that wasn’t anywhere near enough.  A shame, too, as the show as actually really good this week.
