With The Elite leaving Ring of Honor, there were definitely some holes to fill. A couple of days ago, Ring of Honor did further work for exactly that purpose – signing an exclusive contract with Shane Taylor through 2019. Here’s Shane’s tweet:
Incredibly excited to announce that I've officially agreed to terms on an EXCLUSIVE contract with @ringofhonor for 2019!! Trust and believe I'm going to continue to #ShatterTheGlassCeiling & show why I'm #TheREALBreakoutStar in ROH!! pic.twitter.com/MONuY5UQaY

Shane has been wrestling since 2007 and one of his trainers was Raymond Rowe of the NXT tag team, War Raiders. He was also in a tag team with current NXT superstar, Keith Lee in a tag team called “Pretty Boy Killers”. During their time together, they became VIP Wrestling Tag Team Champs.
Botch Take: Shane is undeniable proof that you can be successful without having THE body type that everyone thinks of. He’s 6’1″ and about 350 lbs but can absolute get the job done in there. He’s also really good on the mic. While I’ve never been a huge ROH viewer, his presence there may make me one.
