After the pre-show match to determine the new number one contenders for the NEVER Openweight Six-man championship was done, New Japan ran a video package on their plans for 2019. Two of the major highlights from that were their plans to have shows outside of Japan. They announced plans to have a show in Dallas, Texas at the American Airlines Center and announced a show in London, England. You can view the announcement for both shows in the tweets below.

S.A.M.’s Spiel: This will be the true test for NJPW if they are serious in their global expansion. I have no doubt that the fans will come out for the London show as England has seen a resurgence in pro wrestling in recent years. The Dallas show is the hard one to judge because that could determine where they have reached in America. The American Airlines Center can hold up to 20,000 people so it will be interesting to see how they plan the seating for it. I hope both shows do well and NJPW is able to continue their growth.
