It’s been a less than stellar start to the year for Impact with having to move their TV show to the Pursuit Channel (a VERY small network that Impact’s parent company Anthem Entertainment own a minority stake in) and a whole host of talents leaving.
However, thanks to the revenue that seems to be coming in from simulcasting their TV show on Twitch, they have started to lock people down to contracts.
Sir Mitch Says: It’s a good thing that Twitch has become a viable revenue stream for Impact Wrestling. If it wasn’t, I doubt they could afford to keep people under contract with WWE, NJPW and now AEW looking to sign away their stars.
