Alexa Bliss made an in-ring return during last night’s live event in Trenton, New Jersey. Her “Moment of Bliss” segment with Natalya ended when Lacey Evans interrupted. Evans and Bliss attacked Natalya until Nikki Cross made the save. Cross and Natalya then defeated Bliss and Evans when Bliss tapped out to the Sharpshooter.
Bliss has only worked a handful of matches since October 2018, which includes the Women’s Royal Rumble Match and a WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match back in January. Since then, she’s worked a select few live events with her last match coming on March 9th against Natalya.
S.A.M.’s Spiel: It is nice to see Bliss get some ring time because she has been limited to talking segments on Raw for the most of 2019 so far. I know she has said she isn’t injured but clearly WWE are being careful with her since she has seen limited ring time. I hope she is able to compete on Raw some time in the near future and isn’t limited to just live event matches.
