Update On AJ Styles’ WM Hip Injury

Aj Styles has addressed the rumors around his possible injury at WrestleMania 35, which happened during the superplex off the corner in his match with Randy Orton.

“So any breaking news coming out for AJ Styles, I’ll let you know. I have a sprained SI joint. When you do that your muscles are there to protect. When they protect, your hips get off sometimes and what not. Therefore you pinch nerve endings and you’re in a lot of pain. So that’s what is going on with me. Nothing too severe. Just got to get those muscles to ease up and treat a sprain like a sprain. Hopefully it doesn’t take too long to heal. I’ll be back in action soon.”

AJ normally takes a few days off after WrestleMania, so he should be back sooner than later.

QD – I’ve been worried about AJ’s hip and his future since I found out that he collapsed upon rolling from the ring after his WM match with Orton.  I’m so glad it’s nothing serious, but AJ’s not a kid and will need to keep an eye on that hip even after it’s healed.  It would be horrible if this turned into a nagging injury after having to lower himself to face Orton at WM.
