Brian Cage was rushed to the emergency room following his match with Johnny Impact at the Rebellion PPV.
We can confirm that the injury is legitimate and not an angle. Cage is believed to have suffered a back injury.
Cage was legitimately banged up just three minutes into his match with Impact, taking a Spanish Fly off the rampway to the ring to the floor. While Cage pushed through and finished the match, as well as a post-match angle and beatdown at the hands of the debuting Michael Elgin, he was legitimately hurt and was taken to the hospital right after he returned to the locker room.
Sir Mitch Says: Cage has seemingly been hurting for a long time now as every match his shoulders and quads tend to be heavily taped. Let’s hope his injury is not too serious.
