The ratings decline continued this week and a new record-low was set on Tuesday night.
WWE SmackDown Live drew just 1.833 million viewers. This beats their previous record low (1.841 million). This is down 11.5% from last week’s 2.072 million viewers and the lowest SmackDown audience for a non-holiday first-run episode in history.
Smackdown did have some competition with the Boston Celtics vs Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors vs Houston Rockets NBA Playoff games and the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
S.A.M.’s Spiel: This was a bad week for WWE ratings wise and is not a good look. Raw was a dreadful show and Smackdown suffered the aftershock from that with people not tuning in. Hopefully they can rebound next week with a better Raw because I’m sure Fox will not like seeing the ratings for the show they are going to have later this year to be this low.
