For several weeks now, episodes of Impact Wrestling have ended with the show going to commercial during the main event and just never came back on the air to finish the show.
It is the latest and most glaring issue Impact has been having with their new TV home as Impact management has grown tired of the lack of communication and cooperation from the network which it’s parent company Anthem Entertainment owns a small stake in.
The deal between the two was always meant to be temporary as Impact have been looking for a better TV deal on a different network the whole time they have aired on Pursuit while simulcasting on Twitch (where most of its viewership now comes from anyway)
Sir Mitch Says: I have heard rumors of Impact signing a deal with AXS TV which also airs New Japan Pro Wrestling and Women Of Wrestling, but I don’t see this happening!
I wouldn’t be shocked if Impact gave up on TV altogether and just aired its weekly show on Twitch. They seem to be making more money airing content on that platform than they did on Destination America and POP!
