In case you have wondered where AOP have been, this is the reason why.
Rezar has undergone surgery to fix a torn bicep suffered earlier this month, according to a new report. The WON reports that Rezar had surgery to fix the injury, which happened on the March 10th episode of Raw.
The surgery typically takes seven to eight months to recover from. WWE has decided not to use Akam without Rezar, so as of now there are no plans to have either of them appear on TV.
S.A.M.’s Spiel: AOP simply cannot catch a break since they were called up from NXT. Akam dealt with an injury that kept them off TV and now Rezar is on the shelf. We are in uncertain times but it looks like we won’t see AOP until the back half of 2020. We all wish Rezar a full recovery and he, alongside Akam, can continue working with WWE. I do hope that this doesn’t put a stigma on AOP for being injury prone and they can work back from this.
