Who doesn’t love a Takeover? And on top of it all, it’s the return of the much loved In Your House. With a stacked card as always, lets dive in and see what the Wrestle Royalty staff think will happen this Sunday, 7th June.
Tomasso Ciampa vs Karrion Kross w/ Scarlett
I know Kross is big and scary, but what about my boy Ciampa? Ciampa is such a strong and wily little thing. His ring work always leaves me in awe. People talk about ‘this person’ or ‘that person’ being the best wrestler in the world, but I rarely hear people mention Ciampa on the top ten of the best right now, and that’s bollocks! Ciampa gives his all and does amazing things in that ring. He’s one of my all-time favorites, and not because of the fantastic camo pants he wears, but because of his passion, his drive, his hard work, and his devotion to the fans as much as the ring. All those things being said, I have a feeling that Kross is going to flatten my boy Ciampa and I need to face up to it. I hate to do it, but I’m giving this to Kross.
Winner – Karrion Kross
They are throwing Karrion Kross right into the deep end of the pool with his first feud and TakeOver opponent. Ciampa has delivered time and time again at TakeOver so Kross has quite the task in front of him. Kross has been made to look like a million bucks and I have enjoyed him in NXT so far. It is hard to say what kind of match this will be because Kross has been booked like a monster but, Ciampa is no pushover. I think there is potential of this being Kross’ best match to date because he is working with Ciampa. It is hard for Ciampa to have a bad match, so I expect him to get the best out of Kross here. I do wonder if Scarlett will play a role in the outcome of the match or if she will just stay on the outside. I would say this is a tough match to choose the winner, but the winner seems pretty obvious to me and definitely makes sense in the long run.
The Winner: Karrion Kross
I want to be into this – really, I do. Truth is though, I’m kinda not. I’m not sure why I’m not…but I’m not. Maybe it’s because I’m used to seeing Tommaso in absolutely show-stopping visceral feuds like the one he had with Johnny Gargano. That was “must see” and I couldn’t wait for their matches to take place. Heck, I’d be fine with another one. It may also be the hype machine that preceded Karrion (formerly Killer) Kross. That’s thus far translated into a really cool entrance and some decent matches. In truth, though, he’s really only shown me “big menacing dude”. I’m not seeing any real substantive character shading yet. I don’t know enough about him yet to actually care. It appears they’re somewhat counting on who he was in order to sell him. That just doesn’t work for me and I’m not as into this as I thought I’d be.
As for who wins, Karrion could use a big win but has he done enough to earn one yet? I kinda don’t think so.
The WINNAH! – Tommaso Ciampa
Most of these match ups for In Your House are hard to call, this match isn’t one of them though. Kross debuted in one of the most epic ways possible last month with one of the most impressive entrances in all of wrestling. It’s obvious management is going to push him really strong right out of the gate, and what better way to start that push than with a dominating win over one of the cornerstones of the NXT brand.
Winner: Karrion Kross
All the matches on this card have the potential to steal the show, but this match for me is what I’d put my money on. I don’t know a lot about Kross, but from what I’ve seen so far has me excited to see what he can do and to go against one of the best in NXT is drool worthy. While people say Ciampa doesn’t want to leave NXT, for me this seems like his farewell match, it’s the usual passing of the torch in NXT, to lose your final match to a new comer, and since I can’t see Kross losing his first big match, I feel he is going to send Ciampa packing.
Winner: Karrion Kross
Two scary and intense dudes and it’s honestly more compelling than the championship match. Ciampa has billed himself as the greatest sports entertainer, and along comes Kross and his severely hot wife. Kross is a presence, he seems to drip gravitas like Ciampa and this match is the battle for supremacy in NXT as the winner will clearly be in line for a title shot sometime down the line.
WINNER – Tommaso Ciampa
We all win in this match if Scarlett is ringside… I apologize for getting all JR there for a second. Kross made his debut with a bang; the victim of that bang is Tommaso Ciampa. Ciampa has all but forgotten about Goldie and is now focused on Kross. I haven’t seen Kross wrestle much, but I have seen Ciampa wrestler plenty of times and he is able to have great matches with just about anyone. The combination of the two should be a great match. It will be interesting to see how Kross develops in NXT and if he will be a franchise player in the black and gold brand. I’m interested to see when Ciampa will get his call up to the main roster, as he’s been one of the most successful stars in NXT and I’m sure they wouldn’t use him properly up on the main roster, but to me it seems like that call is coming. This will be a hard hitting match from two guys that don’t like to back down from anyone. Kross needs a real-big win to make his NXT coming official.
Winner: Karrion Kross
Triple threat match for the NXT Championship
Charlotte Flair (c) vs Rhea Ripley vs Io Shairi
I’ve heard so many ideas behind what will happen with the NXT Championship going forward. There’s rumor that they want to strap Io to keep her happy. That Rhea will be getting the strap back for this reason or that. That Charlotte will retain because she’s killing it in NXT. Well, I say that NXT will be solid no matter who is champion, it’s Raw I’m more worried about. I’m constantly complaining about how Charlotte it being pushed down our throats as virtually the only woman who matters in WWE, but right now I think she’s needed back on Raw more than on NXT. Becky is out for a year, and I’m thrilled for her. Asuka more than deserves being Raw Champion, but there really isn’t a solid heel for her to work against. Nia already has serious heat because of who she is, and then she injured Kairi two weeks in a row. I’ve more than given Nia the benefit of the doubt, and I’m to the point that I almost don’t care what horrors she wears to the ring, because she’s too dangerous to be there. So yes, I think Charlotte needs to drop the strap and get her bum back on Raw so we are not stuck with Nia injuring everyone! That only leaves who to strap, I love Rhea, and she’s a great champion, but she’s also great chasing a champion, so I’m going to go with the opening rumor from this paragraph and go with Io, for the sake of the women on Raw, to save them from Nia.
Winner – Io Shirai
This match has all the makings of being a show stealer given the superstars involved. These are arguably three of the top 5 women in all of WWE and it is hard not to believe that. Charlotte hasn’t exactly nailed it so far as champion as I would have hoped but she has had some good matches with the talent in NXT. Rhea is coming off her loss to Charlotte at WrestleMania and she definitely wants that title back. Io has yet to taste gold in NXT and you can argue she wants it the most in this match. I really do hope the women bring it here and do their best to steal the show because they are more than capable of doing that. I am really going back and forth on who I think will win because I think it is that tough to choose a winner here. In the end, I just have to go with my gut and who I really do want to win this one.
The Winner and NEW NXT Women’s Champion: Io Shirai
Now, THIS…THIS I can get into. This match stands a very good chance of stealing the night. The COVID pandemic is solely responsible for the conditions that have made this situation possible. Charlotte has been a very interesting choice for NXT championship and she’s done well with it. ‘Course, she took it from Rhea back at Mania in a really good match and while I would have liked Rhea to have a longer title reign, I understand why Charlotte took the title then. Io has been waiting in the wings for a while and her heel turn has been a stellar success. That promo we got from her last night that was pure Japanese, was just inspired. There’s a real darkness to her character that she just revels in and I love it. This match is going to be amazing and I absolutely can’t wait for it.
Who wins? We all do! I won’t be mad no matter who wins, honestly. Picking an actual winner here isn’t easy. I’m gonna go with the one who I wanted to see have a longer reign.
The WINNAH and NEW!!!! – Rhea Ripley
There are rumors spreading that Vince plans on calling up a few NXT guys in the coming weeks and Io Shirai is one of the names that continues to pop up. With that in mind, it’s a very real possibility that makes her the least likely to walk away with NXT Gold here. That leaves Charlotte and Rhea and as much as I would love to see Ripley regain her title, I don’t think it happens this weekend. What I do think will happen though is Charlotte retains by pinning Ripley which furthers the story that Charlotte is Ripley’s Kryptonite. Rhea will finally get her clean win over Flair in due time by that time hasn’t arrived yet.
Winner: Charlotte Flair
This deserves to be the main event in my eyes, the build up has been escalating well before WrestleMania and all three women are going to show the men how to work the ring. If this isn’t the last match on the show I really feel sorry for whoever follows. I expect a lot of high flying mixed with the technical mat based wrestling and I certainly don’t expect a moments rest. Charlotte has been a decent champ, I’ll give her that, but it’s time she goes back to Raw fulltime. As for Rhea and Io, Rhea held the title and had a good run, but it’s Io’s time to shine, she has been nothing short of phenomenal in the ring and I’d love to see her with the strap.
Winner: Io Shirai
Oh man, I’m not sure how we got here. Charlotte being shoved back into NXT was unnecessary and a derailing of all the momentum that Ripley generated in the back half of 2019. Io Shirai is probably the best wrestler in NXT right now – not male or female – but WRESTLER, and she might leave when her deal is up this summer. I think the best move is for Ripley to beat Charlotte to get that title back, but I could see Shirai getting it, in a bid to keep her around. Hey Charlotte – you don’t go here anymore.
WINNER – Rhea Ripley
I won’t make you wait for my pick on this one, Io Shirai needs to win this match. The rumors of her departure from the company have been floating around for months now but she’s still here and it’s time for her to get a chance to carry the gold. Io has showed she can go toe to toe with anyone. Her high flying ability makes her stand out from the rest. There will be Flair and Ripley matches for years to come but there might only be one chance to let Io run the show. No disrespect to Flair and Ripley they’re two great wrestlers, with the ability to have amazing matches. This is how I see it playing out, Flair and Ripley let their dislike for each other get the best of them and it allows Io to sneak in for the win. The only thing I want for my birthday is for Io Shirai to win the Women’s NXT Championship.
Winner and New NXT Women’s Champion: Io Shirai
Finn Bálor vs Damian Priest
I am sure I’m in the minority on this, but I just haven’t been feeling Balor since he returned to NXT. Maybe it’s just me, but he honestly doesn’t seem to be the man he was before that fateful SummerSlam. I cannot put my finger on what it is, but he’s not the man I expect him to be and know he can be. Priest is solid in the ring, great charisma as well. Personally, he needs the win more than Bálor at this point, so I’m going with Priest on this one.
Winner – Damian Priest
This is sadly a match that I don’t feel terribly hyped for. They have done all they could to try and get us hyped but something just feels off. I think part of it is due to it feeling rushed that we found out who attacked Finn, and Priest was a bit out of left field. I do expect a solid match from these two because they certainly are skilled in the ring. It is tricky too because Priest is a clear heel and Finn seems to be going more in a tweener role of late. I don’t know who to choose here because a case could be made for either man. Priest could definitely use the win and momentum from a victory here and it could help to elevate him. Bálor could use the win because he gets revenge on the person that attacked him and could move to the next person. This feels like a coin flip so I will just have to go with my gut.
The Winner: Damian Priest
This is another one that should tear the house down nicely. The story between them hasn’t been particular compelling for me, neither has this story been built all that well. Still, the ring work will get this one over for me as both are just amazing in there. They will do their level best in there and this should move nicely. Still, the story has been lacking a bit for me and it should have been so much more than it is.
Damian Priest needs a big win to solidify his position so he can move on to other things. That said…
The WINNAH! – Damian Priest
I’ve honestly thought about flipping a coin here to pick a winner here, Priest could use a win over Finn, but I can easily see Finn picking up a victory and gaining some measure of revenge on Priest for the attack. I’m gonna pick Finn here, but by no means do I think this feud is over. I suspect that Priest will continue to target Bálor in his mission to use him as a stepping stone.
Winner: Finn Bálor
While this is set to be a great match, the build up has been poor and made very little sense. We’re supposed to believe on the night Priest had the chance to win the North American Title from Lee, he just decided to attack Bálor for no real good reason? I also don’t want to see them turn Bálor face, he’s only recently become a heel and I’m loving his new attitude, and they’re surely not going heel vs heel here. If they are able to bring WALTER over for the show, I can see their feud continuing on and I really hope that happens. With that in mind, I don’t see Bálor losing momentum heading into his toughest ever battle, especially after his shock loss to Cameron Grimes.
Winner: Finn Bálor
Sometimes, a thirst trap match is a thirst trap match and that is what this is. Sure Bálor and Priest are great wrestlers, Bálor might be one of the best of this generation and Priest has a ton of upside. Sometimes, you just want to watch two hunky dudes smack each other around and that’s ok.
WINNER – Finn Bálor
I expected Finn’s return to NXT to include the NXT Championship but Finn has been on the back burner when it comes to getting a shot at the gold. He has had plenty of great matches since his return, but none have ended in gold. Instead it’s another mid-card match for Finn, but this match can be a show stealer if we get the Finn Bálor of old. Priest has great size and great athletic ability but is another wrestler stuck in the mid-card on a very stacked roster of NXT. I’m hoping both of these guys bring their A-game and give us a show stealing match.
Winner: Finn Bálor
Last Chance Backlot Brawl for the NXT Championship
(If Dream loses, he can no longer challenge for the NXT Championship while Cole is still champion)
Adam Cole (c) vs Velveteen Dream
I think the question that needs to be asked is; which of these guys will be moving to Raw or SD sooner than the other one? The other question is if Dream will have his moment as NXT Champion? This is the match that has me hung up the most. Either Dream wins and is Champ and Cole licks his wounds and moves to SD, or Cole wins and Dream ends up on SD. Personally, I’d rather have Dream on SD as the joy it would bring me every Friday night would be amazing, but I think that it’s time to move Cole and break up UE. Not saying break them up tomorrow and move Cole up this week, but after a brief bit of angst I think moving Cole to SD would be downright fantastic!
Winner – Velveteen Dream
This is a match that has been building for quite some time and now it would appear to be their final matchup in NXT. Cole only agreed to the match if the stipulation was added that if he retains, Dream can no longer challenge him for the title. This is all or nothing for Dream and I expect them to deliver. It is interesting too because it is taking place in the backlot of the PC, so I expect them to get a bit cinematic with this match. I have enjoyed their previous encounters and I hope this match delivers because it certainly has some good build. This is a tough one to choose because Dream could use the win, but he also feels like someone that doesn’t necessarily need to be the NXT Champion. Cole has thrived as champion so whoever dethrones him will get a serious rub. Tough to pick, but I will go with the one I think will make sense in the long run.
The Winner and STILL NXT Champion: Adam Cole Bay Bay!
They’ve had some really fun clashes already and their chemistry is off the chain. The stipulation will add some fun urgency to this match. Both characters are totally fleshed out – Cole, the brash champion who feels positively unbeatable and Dream, the precocious wunderkind who can make magic with seemingly anyone and has a character that is completely compelling in every respect. Both of them are absolute technicians and this clash should be amazing to watch. They will pull out all the stops.
I hate to get all “mark” about this but we are hearing rumors that the main roster wants Cole. The issue is breaking up the UE to get him. He’s been in NXT for nearly three years now – just like Dream. Dream has also flirted with this title for a while but could also get called up as there’ve been rumors to that effect for a long time. I love that we absolutely don’t know from that perspective. Cole has had the belt for a very long time and it may just be time to give Dream a run with it so that’s who I’m going with.
The WINNAH and NEW!!!! – Velveteen Dream
I’ve gone back and forth over this most of the day. On one hand, Cole/Undisputed Era have done everything they could in NXT, and a move to the main roster right now would make a ton of sense, so dropping the title to Dream here so Dream can run with the ball is logical. But on the flip side, I’m hearing rumors that Dream is one of the NXT talents that’s headed to the main roster; then there’s the issue of Dream not really having the momentum he had prior to his injury.
While people like Asuka, Sonya Deville & Drew McIntyre thrive in the empty arena era, Dream seems to be hurt by it. His character thrives on the reaction/energy of the fans and without that he seems to have lost that spark so I could easily see HHH deciding to keep the strap on Cole and possibly have him drop it to someone like Keith Lee instead (pending the results of his North American title defense against Gargano).
So basically my heart is telling me Dream but my mind is saying Cole. I’m going mind over matter for this pick.
Winner: Adam Cole
I was so excited for this match first time round, but the build up hasn’t been as exciting second time round, I’d personally have been more interested in a match with Dexter Lumis. That being said, this is no doubt going to be a great match, I do expect a lot of shenanigans from Undisputed Era and Lumis, like last time, I mean this is a backlot brawl (A street fight I guess?) but I have a feeling Cole’s time is not quite up, at least I hope not. I want Lee to be the man to win the title from Cole plus with more call ups looming I feel it may be time Dream finds his spotlight on the big stage.
Winner: Adam Cole
Easily a face off of NXT, heck, the WWE’s two brightest stars. Cole and Dream are singular talents, but you can only have ONE champion. I’ve always been of the opinion that Dream doesn’t need a title, and I feel that holds here too. It’s going to be a great match either way, but I think NXT is better suited with Adam Cole as champion… But it’s going to be an amazing match and no matter who wins, those of us watching win too.
WINNER – Adam Cole
Adam Cole will lose his NXT Championship this year, but it will not be to The Dream. This match has had great story telling. A match that has been built for months. Dream gets one more shot against Cole in what will be a Backlot Brawl. It will be some sort of street fight that will allow the interference of the Undisputed Era and anyone else who wants to come along. I’m a fan of both Dream and Cole, they both have great all around talent but I’m Undisputed Era for life. Cole has been NXT since he was able to win the NXT Championship. If the Undisputed Era was ever broken up, it would be a tragedy they are one of the best factions in WWE history. Cole always finds a way to retain his championship and Saturday won’t be any different.
Winner and still NXT Champion: Adam Cole Bay Bay
Singles match for the NXT North American Championship
Keith Lee (c) vs Johnny Gargano
This is going to be a fun match. Lee knows how to go and Gargano is Johnny Wrestling, even as a heel. Now, I’m sure Botch and the others will think that my prediction is a hit on Lee, but it’s not; it’s my continued love for Gargano – even though he’s a twit right now. This is going to be a lot of fun, and great ring work, but in the end, Gargano will do something dirty for the win and the strap.
Winner & New NXT North American Champion – Johnny Gargano
Now this is a match that has been built rather nicely and one that I expect to be a show stealer. Lee has been on a nice run over the last 8 months or so, and has truly shined during all of this. Gargano has become a heel and I am loving him in this role. The man is totally different from the “Heart of NXT” and I love that. That is the true test of someone if they can be different as a heel or a face and he does both so well. I expect Lee to use his size to throw around Gargano a bit and for Gargano to use his speed to try and chop him down. It is strange because usually a face is in the David role, in a David versus Goliath match, but this one will have a heel in that role. This is the match I am most looking forward to because I feel like this has all the makings to be a classic.
The Winner and NEW NXT North American Champion: Johnny Gargano
I am totally impressed with Gargano’s heel work. I wasn’t sure how that would go, but with an equally-surprising Candice LeRae, both of them have really been a lot of fun as heels. I’ve also enjoyed seeing Keith and his real-life girlfriend, Mia Yim together. Their parody of the Johnny/Candice segment was pretty flat for me but I do enjoy seeing them together. I’m sure LeRae and Yim will be out to cheer on their respective other halves during this match. As is the case with Cole and Dream, Lee and Gargano are absolute technicians in there so this will be a fun match – no doubt about that. The story has been told really well here. I love that Gargano pre-injured Lee on Wednesday to give the story something to build on for Sunday.
Can Lee overcome the hand injury to beat Gargano or will Gargano destroy that hand and take Lee’s North American title? I honestly wouldn’t mind seeing this story go on longer so I think we may be getting a dirty finish here.
The WINNAH – Keith Lee via DQ
This pick ties into my Cole/Dream pick, and because I picked Adam Cole to retain, I’m picking Gargano to win the North American title, which then frees up Keith Lee to chase Adam Cole once again for the main title. And with Gargano having the North American title, imagine all the potential match ups there with guys like Drake Maverick, Pete Dunne, Isaiah Scott or Mansoor (when they finally decide to use him here in the states).
Winner: Johnny Gargano
I’ve loved Gargano & Candice’s heel turn, it’s brought a new lease on life to these two and it’s finally given Candice a personality we can get behind. I wasn’t sure on the Lee and Mia Yim mock promo, as it fell really flat for me, but I’m all in for this feud. Lee and Gargano are two of the top workers, not just in NXT but WWE and they will do everything to steal the show. I expect to see plenty of “holy s*** moments, and maybe an interuption or two, but I think Lee’s time as North American champion is coming to an end, as it’s time he becomes the next NXT champion.
Winner: Johnny Gargano
Oh man, this is the Johnny Gargano I’ve been waiting to see. The egotistical (Johnny Gargano Way) Johnny, the old F.I.S.T. Chikara Johnny (look it up) and Keith Lee is a super athlete. This might be the best match on the card as both men are IMO, in their primes. The NXT NA Title is on the line and while it hasn’t been paid a lot of attention recently, I think that’s going to change direction.
WINNER – Johnny Gargano
The former “Heart and Soul of NXT” is out to take what he was never given; I love seeing this side of Gargano. Gargano has been able to transition so well into his heel side. This will be a hard task for Gargano as Lee stands across from him with the North American NXT Championship. Lee has been rolling over his competition since winning the belt from Roddy Strong. It is no secret that Lee is considered by WWE as one of their best stars moving forward just look back at the Rumble. Lee is a fan favorite and his in ring ability is outstanding. I can see Gargano trying to pick up the win with the help of LeRae, and if LaRae is somehow involved, Mia Yim will not be too far behind her. I don’t see Lee dropping the championship to Gargano because of how popular Lee has become. All I can say is, Gargano, bask in his glory.
Winner and still NXT North American Champion: Keith Lee
Mia Yim, Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox vs Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez
I am so excited to see my girl Mia with Shotzi and Tegan kicking the bum off Kai, Gonzalez, and LeRae. This is going to be a killer of a match, and I think I’m most excited about this one. Now I’ve been saying over and over to anyone who will listen that I think Candace should tag with Charlotte and go after Bliss/Cross for the tag straps. I think Candace and Charlotte would be fantastic together, no matter what show they were on. Anyway, back to this match, it could be a show-stealer, but that could be said about almost every match on this card. They are going to kill it in this match, and I’m excited because there are so many different styles in this match. There’s no question that I’ll be on the edge of my seat through this one, and jumping around when my girl, Mia helps her team win this one.
Winners – Yim, Blackheart, and Nox
This was a late addition to TakeOver, but one that has actually been set up rather nicely when you look at it. All the women have crossed paths over the last month or so and it makes sense for this match to happen. The only problem is that it was announced during the go-home so there wasn’t a chance to build it up properly. I do fully expect this match to be fun though and to possibly be an underrated gem for TakeOver, if they give it some time. I do expect Shotzi to do something crazy, because she will put her body on the line and keep on trucking like nothing happened. It is tough to pick a match here because of how late it was announced but I will go with what makes sense in my head.
The Winners: Shotzi, Tegan and Mia.
Every woman in this match save Raquel is capable of having an incredible match with each other. Gonzalez, while not awful, just isn’t on the level of the other women here. This one was kind of thrown together at the last minute so there’s not much of a story for it as a package. Still, there are little stories within it that will make it fun. So cool to see Shotzi get a TakeOver match. She’s got charisma for days and she’s just so much fun. Dakota made one of the most incredible heel turns I’ve ever seen, and with Raquel by her side, she’s been a lot of fun too, though she is beginning to dim. Given how hot her feud with Tegan was, there was only one way to go so it’s kind of understandable. Mia and Candice is money too and they’ll each get their pound of flesh from each other here – possible as a result of what happens with the Lee/Gargano match as I think they’ll both get involved there too.
Who wins? I’m going with the the faces here. Yim, in particular, hasn’t had a meaningful win, really, so this could be it for her. Plus, it adds further fuel to the Lee/Gargano feud that likely doesn’t end here.
The WINNAH – Mia Yim, Shotzi Blackheart, & Tegan Nox
This will be a fun showcase for the ladies. This one is tough to call but I’m gonna say that the babyface s go over here with Mia picking up the pinfall for her team.
Winners: Mia Yim, Tegan Nox & Shotzi Blackheart
This match alone just shows you how stacked the women’s division is right now. It also shows us why there is should be no reason for the women’s tag team division to feel so thin, these women are yearning for their chance and are stuck in a 6 women tag match. Don’t get me wrong this will be a fun and exciting match to watch with a lot of different personal feuds going on, but they could be doing so much more on the main roster right now, I don’t know how many times I can watch Bliss/Cross, IIconics and Bayley/Sasha all fight for those titles! Anyway, this is the first time (I think ever) we are getting more than 5 matches on a TakeOver event and I fear this match will suffer as a result and not get the time it deserves. LeRae, Kai and Gonzalez have all had a few impressive victories as of late, but it’s time for the faces to get one over.
Winners: Mia Yim, Tegan Nox & Shotzi Blackheart
This is going to be a fun match. All 6 tremendously talented women and all will be carrying the banner of the NXT women’s division in the very near future. Each of them bring something different and I hope they are given enough time to display that. I expect a big show from Shotzi as she is the newest addition to the women’s division and is looking to plant her flag.
WINNER – Mia Yim, Shotzi Blackheart, and Tegan Nox
As long as this match is good, all the other ones can suck. I’m a fan of women’s wrestling and this match is jammed packed with talent. I can’t pick a side to be honest. Tegan Nox is one of the most underrated wrestlers in NXT, she has battled multiple injuries in her jump to NXT and has overcome all of them, which only highlights one reason as to why Nox is one of my favorite wrestlers in the whole world. Then you have Shotzi, a wrestler willing to take risks to entertain, another one of my favorite wrestlers. On the other side you have LaRae, who has settled so well into her heel character. Saving the best for last with Dakota Kai, who is my favorite female wrestler. She is very undervalued and underrated. The talent is there to have an amazing match. I hope these ladies can get the proper time needed to put on a show.
Winners: Candace LeRae, Raquel Gonzalez, and Dakota Kai
So now you’ve heard what we have to say, we want to hear your predictions, comment below with your winners and what match you think will steal the show!
