9/21 Update: Final numbers reflect a change in viewers to 2.039 million, up from overnight ratings by nearly 100k.
The overnight ratings for Friday Night SmackDown have been released and they are down under 2 million for the first time in 6 weeks. Last night’s episode pulled in 1.954 million with a .50 18-49 demographic rating. Both are down from 2.261 million and a .55 rating respectively. Hour by hour breakdown is as follows:
Hour 1 – 1.922 million (.50)
Hour 2 – 1.986 million (.50)
Final numbers will be released Monday around 4pm, at which time, we will update with those numbers. If there is one positive, it’s that the numbers stayed steady for the whole episode, something WWE has struggled with across all brands.
