On Twitter earlier today, former WWE talent Jack Gallagher issued a statement regarding the abuse allegations made against him earlier this year that led to his release from WWE. It is as follows:

This is the first official statement and comment that has a been released by Gallagher since his release in June 2020.
Jason’s Jest: I’m not really certain how I feel about this “apology”. I understand that alcohol can make people do some pretty stupid things, even cause memory loss of events that happen while intoxicated, but this seems more like an excuse for his actions than an apology. The only saving grace for me is he does point out that regardless of being drunk, he owned up that’s not an excuse for what happened.
