Toni Storm cuts a promo about her upcoming match with Rhea Ripley. She speaks about how she took the NXT UK Women’s Championship from her and how she can beat Rhea. She says Rhea got the better of her in their last match but this version of Toni is different from then. She is ready to beat her tonight.

Shotzi Blackheart is interviewed backstage and she talks about how she is proud of her team from WarGames. She talks smack about Candice LeRae and how she broke her arm in WarGames. She is ready to break Indi Hartwell and leaves.

Tommaso Ciampa def. Tyler Rust. Timothy Thatcher is held back by referees after the match and Ciampa throws a Thatcher shirt at him.

Grizzled Young Veterans cut a promo about how they are the best team in NXT right now. They talk about how the tag scene has changed but they are still the best team in the world.

A Karrion Kross vignette is played and highlights from his time in NXT is played. He says that doomsday is still coming as the vignette ends.

A video is played of what happened after the Rust/Ciampa and it shows Malcolm Bivens giving Rust a sort of pep talk. He tells Rust to go with him and Rust leaves with Bivens.

Kyle O’Reilly def. Pete Dunne to earn a title match against Finn Balor at New Year’s Evil

Rhea Ripley is warming up backstage and she is interviewed about what happened between herself and Raquel Gonzalez last week. She says that Raquel was the one that backed down first and she knows her better than people know. She then moves on to talk about Toni Storm and that she is also a different person now. She is ready to beat her and finish things between the two.

Another training video featuring Xia Li and Boa is played. Xia is in tears practicing and Boa is asking for them to stop as he takes his beating. Xia is in tears as she hits Boa with multiple strikes as their sensei watches.

Shotzi Blackheart def. Indi Hartwell by DQ when Indi hits Shotzi with Candice LeRae’s trophy. They beat down Shotzi after the match.

Another Karrion Kross vignette is played and it shows more highlights from his run in NXT to date.

A vignette for Bronson Reed and it hypes up his return for next week.

Karrion Kross def. Desmond Troy. Kross issues a challenge to Damian Priest for a match at New Year’s Evil after the match.

Isaiah “Swerve” Scott is interviewed backstage about not shaking the hand of Jake Atlas last week and he says it was not a big deal. He says he was frustrated and he talks about how he has been at this longer than Jake. He says he got approval for a rematch from William Regal for next week. Ever-Rise then appear and they take issue with their loss from last week. They said they got the loss stricken from their record and they are still undefeated. They talk about how good they are before leaving.

Dexter Lumis unveils what he has been working on and it shows that he will be the host for New Year’s Evil.

Finn Balor cuts a promo on Kyle O’Reilly and how he proved he can hang with him at TakeOver 31. He then says he still lost and that it will be the same at New Year’s Evil.

Toni Storm def. Rhea Ripley. Raquel Gonzalez attacked Rhea during the match and provided Toni with the advantage for the win.
