Impact Wrestling: Hard to Kill 2021 Results

The following are the results to Impact Wrestling’s first big PPV of the year, Hard to Kill.

Brian Myers defeated Josh Alexander
In a fun pre-show match, Myers pulled down the headgear over Alexander’s eyes and hit him with a clothesline for the win. I heard there was a lot of technical issues (possibly Twitch), but it was all good over on Fite.TV

Decay (Rosemary & Crazzy Steve) defeated Tenille Dashwood & Kaleb with a K
Good opener, but not the best I’ve seen from either of Rosemary or Tenille.

Violent by Design (Eric Young, Deaner, and Joe Doering) defeated Cousin Jake, Rhino, and Tommy Dreamer in an Old School Match
It seems this trio now have a name, I still prefer Sanity 2.0, but a great match with some of your favourite hardcore tropes.

Fire & Flava (Kiera Hogan & Tasha Steelz) defeated Havok & Nevaeh for the vacant Impact Knockouts Tag Team Championship
Another team with an official team name and NEW Impact Women’s Tag Champions. The belts were presented to them by Madison Rayne and Gail Kim.

Matt Cardona defeated Ace Austin /w Madman Fulton by DQ
Ace Austin wanted to be in a title match after winning the Super X Cup, but instead Matt Cardona made his debut to take on Ace. Fulton attacked Matt before he could finish off Ace to cause a DQ, but Matt was left standing strong.

Manik (c) defeated Chris Bey and Rohit Raju for the Impact X Division Championship
Manik wins with a roll up in a crazy and fun fast paced match. Manik was unmasked, but couldn’t be identified as TJP, as he had face paint on.

Deonna Purrazzo (c) /w Susan & Kimber Lee defeated Taya Valkyrie /w Rosemary & Crazzy Steve for the Impact Knockouts Championship
In a hard fought match, Deonna picked up the victory after making Taya submit.

The Karate Man defeated Ethan Page
In one of the more bizarre cinematic matches, it seems Page’s alter ego, The Karate Man has killed off Ethan Page in his swansong match with the company.

Eddie Edwards defeated Sami Callihan in a Barbed Wire Massacre
Edwards hits a Boston Knee Party with a barbed wire chair, followed by Emerald Flowsion onto more barbed wire for the victory. I’ll be honest, even though it was brutal, I’m thankful the ropes weren’t made of barbed wire like previous variations of this match.

The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson) & Kenny Omega /w Don Callis defeated Rich Swann, Chris Sabin and Moose
Omega picks up the win with a One Winged Angel on Rich Swann. All six put in a great effort for the main event, but there was only ever going to be one team winning this.
