WWE Smackdown Results: 

Roman Reigns makes his way out to the ring with Paul Heyman and Jey Uso. Roman gets on the mic and talks about the ways that WWE needs him. He talks about how easily he defended the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber. Roman talks about how his victory wasn’t perfect because he was speared by Edge after the match. Roman then talks about how he will be facing Edge in the main event of Wrestlemania and how Edge doesn’t really want to face him because of what he can do to him. Roman starts to talk about how Edge is a father and husband and that he stands no chance against him. Daniel Bryan interrupts Roman and makes his way down to the ring. Bryan agrees with Roman about it not being a perfect night for Roman at Elimination Chamber and mocks Roman defending the title after the Chamber match. Bryan then talks about how Roman is not a real champion because how he defended the championship. Bryan talks about how he has known how good Roman has been for a long time and talks about the comparisons people have made between the two of them. Bryan then issues a challenge to Roman for a title match at Fastlane and then Jey grabs the mic from him. Jey questions Bryan asking for a match and Roman then asks him if he really wants another piece of him. Jey then attacks Bryan and throws him over the barricade.

Adam Pearce is in his office with Sonya Deville when Edge walks in. Edge tells them that they need to talk as Smackdown goes to commercial.

Roman is backstage with Jey and Jey apologizes for jumping the gun. Roman says that he doesn’t mind as long as he gets the job done.

Edge is continuing his talk with Pearce and Sonya and they talk about Bryan possibly having the match with Roman at Fastlane. Pearce explains that Bryan needs to beat Jey in order to get the title match and Edge seems to be okay with it.

Otis & Chad Gable def. Rey & Dominik Mysterio

Apollo Crews comes out to the ring to talk about why he has been doing the things he has been doing in recent weeks. He talks about how nice he has been and how he has not received that in return. Apollo talks about how he is from Nigeria and his family history. He talks about how this is who he really is and how the colors he has one mean wealth, dominance and power. He talks about how he went back to his roots when he attacked Big E last week and how Shinsuke Nakamura will suffer the same this week.

Apollo Crews def. Shinsuke Nakamura

Roman Reigns is sitting in his dressing room and is informed by Paul Heyman about the change to the match at Fastlane. Heyman informs him that the tag match will be scrapped if Daniel Bryan defeats Jey Uso tonight. Heyman leaves and Roman is left pondering the news.

Tamina def. Liv Morgan

Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville are in the ring and introduce Bianca Belair to the ring so she can make her decision as to who she will face at Wrestlemania. Bianca makes her way out to the ring and she talks about how winning the Royal Rumble changed her life. Sonya then asks her who she will pick to take on at Wrestlemania and hype packages for Asuka and Sasha Banks are played. Bianca talks about how she was taught by her mom about making the right choices and she is interrupted by Reginald before she makes her decision. Reginald tells Bianca about how Sasha has elevated Bianca since they have tagged together. Reginald tells her that she is special but she will lose if she chooses Sasha. Sasha Banks then makes her way out to the ring. Sasha tells Reginald that he should not speak for her and then tells Bianca that she will be the talk of the conversation if she chooses her. Sasha then tells Bianca about how she is the best in WWE and how Bianca is not. Bianca then tells Sasha that she chooses her for her match at Wrestlemania and she plans on taking the title from her.

King Corbin is warming up backstage when Sami Zayn’s camera crew walks up to him. Sami tells them to back up and then Sami asks him for his comments on the conspiracy against him. Corbin asks him why they are tagging and Sami says that is his doing. He says they have great chemistry and that they can become champions if they work together. Sami starts pitching tag team names and Corbin agrees they could be champions in the tag division. Corbin tells him to stop telling him what to do and tells the camera crew to get out of his face before leaving.

The Street Profits def. Sami Zayn & King Corbin

Daniel Bryan is interviewed backstage about his upcoming match with Jey Uso. He says he feels like he has a good chance at beating Jey and then beating Roman. He says he feels like he would have a better shot than Edge and feels like Edge has been away for too long. Edge then appears and says he heard what he said. Edge talks about the possibility of them facing each other and Bryan keeps his thoughts on the possible match to himself. He goes to get ready for his match with Jey Uso.

Seth Rollins makes his way out to the ring prior to Smackdown going to commercial. Seth is in the ring and talks about how the complaint he sent has gotten a huge response. Seth is then interrupted by Cesaro and is ready to fight Seth. Seth tries to calm him down and says certain things have been blown out of proportion. Seth starts talking up Cesaro and how he should be able to grab the brass ring. Seth continues to talk him up and says what Cesaro has been missing in his career. He says it is “killer instinct” and he can give that to him since he has been able to accomplish everything. Seth says they can be a dominant force on Smackdown if they join together and Cesaro would have won the Chamber and beaten Roman if he listened to him. Seth wants Cesaro to embrace the vision but Cesaro attacks him instead. Cesaro then hits Seth with an uppercut and leaves the ring.

Jey Uso vs Daniel Bryan ends in a double count out. Bryan and Jey continue to fight after the match and Roman Reigns comes out to attack Bryan. Bryan tries to fight back but the numbers are too much for him. Roman hits Bryan with a spear and puts him in the guillotine as Smackdown comes to a close.
