WWE NXT Results:

Raquel Gonzalez & Dakota Kai def. Zoey Stark & Io Shirai. Gonzalez attacks Shirai after the match and hits her with her finisher on the announce table.

A video is shown from yesterday when Adam Cole when to Kyle O’Reilly’s jiu-jitsu gym and attacked him. They were separated and Cole was escorted out of the building.

Kyle O’Reilly is shown arriving to the CWC and Roderick Strong tells him to kick Cole’s butt. Kyle tells him that their is no more “us” and it is between himself and Cole. Strong doesn’t like that and Kyle says that answers the question that he was asked.

LA Knight is walking backstage and he talks about his match with Bronson Reed. He talks about what Bronson did last week and that he is going to take it to him tonight.

Jordan Devlin cuts a promo backstage about how great of a talent he is. He says he respects KUSHIDA but he will make an example of him tonight.

A video package for WALTER is played and shows highlights from NXT and NXT UK.

Karrion Kross def. Oney Lorcan. Kross addresses the actions from Finn Balor last week and that he gave respect to someone that didn’t deserve it. He says that when he held Balor’s neck in his hand, it felt like everybody else. Balor then makes his way out with a mic in hand. Balor comes down to the ring and says that Kross showed him his weakness. He says a young man fights with emotion and that he learned to control his emotion that some call demons. He tells Kross he still fights with emotion and he will push Kross to the point that he either masters his emotions or his emotions get the better of him. Balor plans on dragging him to the deep and will drown him.

William Regal is in his office and he announces who will face Johnny Gargano at TakeOver. He says a battle royal will happen next week and the final six men will compete in a gauntlet match. The winner will then face Gargano on night 2 of TakeOver.

KUSHIDA cuts a promo on Jordan Devlin and how he will find out that KUSHIDA is the best technical wrestler in NXT.

WALTER def. Drake Maverick. Tommaso Ciampa then makes his way out to the ring as Imperium, minus Alexander Wolfe, are waiting in the ring. Ciampa gets on the mic and says that the NXT UK Championship intrigues him and challenges WALTER to a title match. Ciampa attacks WALTER when he doesn’t answer but is jumped by Barthel and Aichner. WALTER gives Ciampa a chop and then tells him that he will see him at TakeOver.

Pete Dunne cuts a promo and questions why nobody tried to prove him wrong when he said he was the best technical wrestler in the world. He plans on winning the battle royal next week and will become the new NXT North American Champion.

A video is shown of Robert Stone and Aliyah talking to Mercedes Martinez. Stone tries to talk her into replacing Jessi Kamea since she is injured and Mercedes asks for the envelope he is holding. He gives it to her and she says this isn’t enough. She tells him that is only half and she expects the rest after the match. Stone and Aliyah celebrate but Stone tells her he doesn’t have anymore money as NXT goes to commercial.

A video package for Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon is played.

Johnny Gargano walks into William Regal’s office and questions how he will determine who his next challenger will be. Johnny says that it is unfair and that he deserves better. Regal tells him he should be able to handle it and should start scouting possible opponents.

Ember Moon & Shotzi Blackheart def. Aliyah & Mercedes Martinez to retain the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles

Roderick Strong is in his locker room and Cameron Grimes walks in. Grimes tells him how it is a shame that the Undisputed Era is done and that he should let Grimes buy the IP for the Undisputed Era. Strong punches Grimes and leaves as Grims throws a tantrum on the floor.

Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart are walking backstage and are hyped over defending their titles. Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae then show up and want a shot at them. Shotzi laughs at the idea and Ember says they are more than willing to give them another shot. Candice says they will do it when they want to and leave.

Jordan Devlin def. KUSHIDA. KUSHIDA attacks Legado del Fantasma for costing him the match with their interference. Santos Escobar walks into the ring and has a stare down with Devlin. Shawn Michaels then comes out and puts a ladder in the ring to signal the match between Santos and Devlin should be a ladder match to unify the titles and the two seem to like the idea.

William Regal is on the stage with Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly. Security is around them and Regal tells them he will not stand for them embarrassing the company any further. He says he has the solution and it is for a match between the two on night 2 at TakeOver. He hands them a contract and tells Kyle that since he is not cleared, NXT will not be held liable for what may happen. Cole gets on the mic before signing and says the Undisputed Era was holding him back and Kyle was the one that made him realize it. Cole says that Kyle is just a sidekick and that Adam Cole is not that at all. Cole starts saying that Kyle would not have been successful without him. Cole says that he knows he will win at TakeOver and Kyle is the only one that believes he will win. Kyle then gets on the mic and says they have known each other for a long time and how they all fought to get to the top as a group. Kyle talks about how they became better when they were in NXT and that Cole is the same person that walked into NXT. Kyle says he is not surprised that Cole has acted this way and nobody will be surprised when he beats him at TakeOver. Kyle then signs the contract and the two are held back by security as NXT comes to a close.
