WWE Smackdown Results:
Edge comes out to the ring to start Smackdown this week. Edge begins to explain why he has done what he has done in recent weeks and that he feels this may have needed to happen. He calls Daniel Bryan “roadkill” because he was added to the match at Wrestlemania. He talks about how Bryan was part of the reason for his comeback and how he was looking forward to facing him one day. Edge says that he was so focused on Roman Reigns that he did not see Bryan coming when he should have. He says he was outplayed based on Pearce’s decision last week and thanks Bryan because he is finally okay with who he is again. He says he has become the Rated R Superstar again and that Pearce does not realize what is to come. He agrees that he has snapped because he has woken up. He continues to talk about the triple threat match at the end of his promo.
Edge is walking backstage and is interviewed by Kayla Braxton about Daniel Bryan’s street fight with Jey Uso that is set for tonight. Edge says he doesn’t care if Bryan gets beaten up badly in the match and that if he cannot make it to Wrestlemania, he will be fine with it.
Otis and Chad Gable are in the ring and Chad talks about how he has unlocked the inner alpha in Otis. He says they are peaking at the right time and how they will win the tag titles next week.

Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville are talking in their office and Paul Heyman walks in. Heyman tells him he was to add a clause into the Jey Uso versus Daniel Bryan match that Jey will not be responsible for what he does to Bryan. Sonya agrees to it before Pearce can say anything and Heyman leaves.
Seth Rollins and Cesaro are in the ring for their faceoff prior to their match at Wrestlemania. Corey Graves is the moderator for it and asks Cesaro about the comments Rollins has said about him. Cesaro says they might be true but he cannot fail this time. Seth starts talking about how great he has been at Wrestlemania and other great moments that he has done that are better than some of the iconic moments in Wrestlemania history. Cesaro says he knows he can beat Rollins and Rollins scoffs at the notion. Cesaro talks about how he has put Rollins in the swing multiple times. Rollins takes issue with it and gets in Cesaro’s face to tell him what he plans to do to him at Wrestlemania.
Carmella is backstage and she sees Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler and Reginald walking. Reginald says something to Nia and Nia tells Carmella that she didn’t treat Reginald very well before continuing their walk.
Natalya def. Shayna Baszler. Nia Jax attacks Natalya after the match and Tamina comes in to help Natalya. Nia and Shayna beat them down and the Riott Squad come out to attack the tag champions. Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke then come out to join the fight. Lana and Naomi then come out but Natalya and Tamina stand tall in the end. Carmella is seen watching everything unfold and then Billie Kay tries to hand her a resume. Carmella declines but then accepts it after thinking it over.
Sami Zayn comes out to the ring for his premiere for the trailer for his documentary. He then introduces Logan Paul to the ring. Logan then comes out to the ring and Sami hypes him up and Logan thanks him for inviting him. Sami then invites him to be his guest at Wrestlemania and Logan accepts the invite. Sami then presents his trailer and it plays. Sami starts giving himself praise and he asks Logan what he thought of the trailer. He says it is a lot to take in and talks about how he bumped into Kevin Owens backstage and how he said that everything Sami has been saying has been lies. Sami takes issue with that and how Logan is supposed to be his guest but apologizes because he is a bit on edge. Logan tells him he knows he put effort into it and Owens comes from behind and hits Sami with a stunner. Owens tells Sami he will beat some sense into him at Wrestlemania and walks right by Logan.
Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville are talking in their office and Edge walks in. Edge tells him how he made a bad decision last week but he made a good one with the Jey Uso versus Daniel Bryan match tonight. He tells them he will be on commentary for the match and leaves.
Kevin Owens is walking backstage and he explains why he hit Sami Zayn with a stunner. He says he did it cause he needed to and he is then attacked from behind by Sami Zayn. Sami yells at him and tells him he will see him at Wrestlemania.
Bianca Belair is interviewed in Gorilla prior to her match with Carmella and she talks about how she has finally seen the real Sasha Banks. She says that is the Sasha she wants to face and that she hasn’t forgot about Carmella. She gives her credit and that she isn’t taken her lightly.
Bianca Belair def. Carmella. Sasha Banks tries to attack Bianca from behind after the match but Bianca is able to stop it. Bianca tells her that they will do this at Wrestlemania and Sasha leaves the ring and poses with her title at ringside.
King Corbin is backstage and he says he is tired of the disrespect he has been shown on Smackdown. He talks about taking up the bounty that Bobby Lashley put on Drew McIntyre and how it was a no-brainer. He says he will take out McIntyre and then beat Lashley at Wrestlemania.
Apollo Crews cuts a promo backstage about his match with Big E at Wrestlemania for the Intercontinental Championship. He announces a special stipulation that will allow them to have a winner because anything will go. He says he will take joy in winning and hearing his family praise him over becoming champion.
Edge is in Gorilla and Paul Heyman approaches him. Heyman explains how his odds have been lowered by his match with Roman becoming a triple threat and Edge stops him to tell him he doesn’t care about his plans.
Daniel Bryan def. Jey Uso in a street fight. Bryan attacks Edge at ringside after the match and then goes after Roman Reigns on the entrance ramp. Roman throws the chair he was sitting in but Bryan evades and hits him with a knee. Bryan then puts him in the Yes! Lock on the entrance ramp and is pulled off by officials. Bryan celebrates in the ring as Smackdown comes to a close.
