WWE announced a short time ago via e-mail that the venue for Money in the Bank has been changed. The original location was to take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV, however, it will now take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
No specific details were given regarding the move, but it is speculated that poor ticket sales are the reason. The reason they are holding it at the MGM Grand Garden Arena instead of the larger T-Mobile Arena is the UFC has an event happening the same night at T-Mobile Arena.
Jason’s Jest: This doesn’t really come as a surprise to me or many others. WWE had a load of issues when SummerSlam was hosted at Allegiant Stadium in 2021, including only selling about 60% of seats, resulting in massive sections of the Stadium to be covered. During that event as well, there were massive issues with the payment centers as the cashless system crashed for over half the event.
